PRIVACY POLICY

Legal Moto Dealer ("we", "us", or "our") operates legalmotodealer.com — a curated catalog of street-legal electric bikes, pit bikes, e-motos, and e-scooters. We are an affiliate marketplace: we do not process payments, hold inventory, or ship products. This policy explains what limited information we collect, how it is used, and the choices you have.

By using this site, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

We collect minimal information necessary to operate the site:

Information you provide: If you use our in-site Feedback form or AI chat, you may voluntarily submit your name, email, and message content. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and improve the site.

Automatically collected data: Like most websites, we collect basic analytics data — approximate location (country/region), device type, browser, pages visited, and referring URLs — through Google Analytics. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.

Account data: If you create an account (for example, to submit a bike), we store your email address and submitted content. We never sell your data.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and understand traffic.

Essential cookies: Required for the site to function (for example, remembering your region selection between the US e-bike site and the e-scooter site).

Analytics cookies: Google Analytics uses cookies to measure how visitors interact with the site so we can improve it.

Browser controls: You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect site functionality.

This site earns commissions through affiliate links to third-party retailers and manufacturers. When you click a "Buy Now" link, you are redirected to the retailer's own website. Any data you provide to that retailer — including payment and shipping information — is governed by that retailer's privacy policy, not ours. We encourage you to review their policies.

We do not receive your payment information when you purchase through an affiliate link.

We use collected information to: operate and maintain the site; respond to feedback and inquiries; analyze traffic and improve content; and comply with legal obligations.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics defaults. Feedback submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and improve the site.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Many products listed are of interest to families and young riders, but the site itself is intended for use by adults researching and purchasing vehicles.

Depending on your location (for example, EU/EEA, UK, California), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us via our Contact page. We do not sell personal data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
